Our Leaders

For more than 30 years our Board of Directors have helped lead, support, and grow Handprints Ministries.

Mike Jolly

Chairman

Mike is currently the President of the Board of Directors For HANDPRINTS Ministries.

He is a Charlotte native, attended UNCC and has been employed by the Cook and Boardman Group for the past 35 Years.

Mike has been associated with Handprints for more than 30 years serving as Elder, Board Member, Chief Cook, and Bottle Washer and Friend.

Mike and his beautiful bride Kelly have been happily married for 42 years. They are members of Resurrection Church in Charlotte where Mike serves as Elder and he and Kelly administer the Commonwealth Food Pantry.

Scott Whaley

Vice President

Pastor Whaley has been an ordained minister since 2001. He is a member and Assistant Pastor of the Christian Fellowship Church. He also is the active Youth Pastor.

Charlie Cox

Secretary

Charlie has been a part of the HANDPRINTS ministry since 1990, starting as a student attending sign class in 2nd grade and by 4th grade became involved in ministry participating in dramas. During his college years he began teaching sign classes and he is currently the secretary of the board.

June Whaley

Community Coordinator

June works as an Activity Director in nursing homes for more than 29 years. She a member of the Christian Fellowship Church and helps coordinates community events.

Carla McRorie

Treasurer

Carla grew up in Concord and relocated to Kannapolis in 1971. She is the secretary and member of the St. John’s Reformed Church and works part-time at Big Elm Ministries.
