our beginnings
We are a nonprofit Christian team with one central theme: “to bridge the gap” for Jesus between the deaf and hearing worlds. HANDPRINTS Ministries is comprised of both deaf and hearing people.
Since 1981, we have had the opportunity to travel to different churches and organizations throughout the Southeast, sharing God’s love through events, songs, testimonies, skits and more in states from Florida to Tennessee and Pennsylvania, presenting programs in both English and American Sign Language (ASL).

As part of our Missions commitment, we have been able to send one of our deaf members to Jamaica on two ten-day mission trips to work with the deaf in that country. We also help support an American deaf missionary working in Germany and Russia helping the deaf learn about Jesus.
In recent years the ministry has sent care packages and gifts to schools for the deaf and their families in Puerto Rico and other developing countries.
Whether interpreting for Christain festivals to participating in Deaf Awareness campaigns, HANDPRINTS continues to work hard to connect with deaf communities around the world.
Our mission
Bridging The Gap Between The Deaf And Hearing Worlds for Jesus
In 1987, the ministry incorporated and launched another facet of our ministry, sign language classes. By 1989, we began teaching sign classes to everyone from homeschoolers to private Christian schools to Wednesday night church meetings.
HANDPRINTS has always been fortunate to receive donations from individuals, organizations, and churches to make it possible to get some of the more expensive items that are needed. Without this tremendous support, we could not function efficiently.
As the ministries grows we continue to broaden our outreach efforts. In 2010, our founder launched summer camp programs. At the conclusion of each program a performance is recorded and the videos are published online to share with deaf children and families around the world.
Our classes and ministries continue to serve all generations ages 2 to 102+. Wherever there is an interest, HANDPRINTS has been there.
