Why Should You Consider Sign Language Classes for Children?

1. It is the third most used language in the United States.2. The younger a child is exposed to a language, the easier it is for them to learn and retain it.3. It helps develop eye-hand coordination.

4. It offers them a different way to look at the world.5. It helps the children become aware of a handicap that affects approximately 3.1 million people in the United States.6. It is a valuable tool that some children may want to pursue in later years. There are jobs available in this field.

7. The children have a great possibility of having a deaf child in their classrooms, school, church, and/or neighborhood.8. It helps improve fine motor skills.

9. English becomes easier to a child who knows ASL.

10. Learning sign language is fun!
